Why #uniquesamekind?

We are all unique, we are all the same, let’s be kind.

Even though we are all genetically unique, we are also all human, irrespective of gender, or race, or any other identifying factor distinguishing one person from another.  We feel that positive change can come from recognising and identifying ourselves as people, rather than members of individual groups.  Labels seem to give us a justification for abuse.

People Kind believes that promoting messages of understanding, acceptance and kindness can be a powerful start to changing attitudes towards outsiders.  We appreciate that this is simplistic and that world peace won’t be achieved with a campaign, but it’s a good place to start!
